Top o’ the Mornin’ to Ya!
A powerful insight emerged during our recent Bible study when our leader Greg asked about having a “10 Most Wanted” list. Not the kind from those old TV shows tracking criminals, but something far more eternal – a list of souls we’re praying will come to know Christ.
This resonated deeply because I already maintain such a list in the back of my journal – though mine has grown to about 15 people. These are individuals who may or may not claim to be believers, but whose salvation weighs on my heart.
Weekly, I turn to this list and lift each name in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to work in their lives and draw them to salvation. The approach isn’t about aggressive evangelism, but rather showing Christ’s love through consistent care and genuine connection. Some of these folks already display such Christlike qualities in how they treat others – they’re just missing the final step of accepting God’s gift of eternal life.
Here’s how you can start your own “Most Wanted” list:
1. Create a dedicated space in your Bible or journal
2. List those the Lord puts on your heart
3. Pray through it regularly
4. Reach out intentionally (“Hey, I was thinking about you”)
5. Show Christ’s love consistently
The list may grow beyond 10 – that’s fine. What matters is intentionally praying for and reaching out to those God places on your heart.
You be blessed!
